Illinois Farm Families Ambassador Program

2027 Farmer Ambassador Application Now Open

The Illinois Farm Families Ambassador program seeks to train and elevate the authentic voices of Illinois farmers by connecting them with the Chicago consumer audience. Ambassadors will produce social media assets such as videos, photos, or blog posts to be shared on IFF social media channels (including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube) and website throughout the 2027 calendar year and will receive a stipend for their effort. Scroll down to meet past ambassadors and examples of IFF ambassador content.

Applicants should have an established public presence on social media with the opportunity to grow in their storytelling about life on an Illinois farm. Priority is given to Illinois farmers who are members of IFF partner farm organizations, but membership is not required for consideration. Applicants must be an Illinois resident and must be at least 18 years of age as of January 1, 2027.

Applications for 2027 IFF Farmer Ambassadors will be accepted July 1 – August 30, 2026. Applicants will be notified of their application status in Fall 2026 and will kick off their ambassador year with a training workshop to be held in Bloomington in January 2027.

Apply here to be part of the 2027 IFF Farmer Ambassador program.
