Meet The Zimmerman Family

When great-great-grandpa Joseph immigrated from the France/Germany border in the early 1900s, he settled in central Illinois because it “looked just like home.” Five generations later, Groveland is still a great fit. It’s been said that farming is the closest thing to motherhood for a man. It’s kind of an odd saying, but maybe it has some truth to it. We prepare a bed, care for and protect the young seedlings, and give them the best opportunity to succeed. Like any mother, we take a lot of pride in the results.
