Meet The Weaver Family

One thing I love about the agriculture industry is how it brings people together from all walks of life. You don’t necessarily have to come from an agricultural background to make a difference within it or be part of it. I am originally from the urban area of southern Alabama, and it’s when I moved to Illinois that my exposure and passion for the pig industry began. I have been raising and caring for pigs with Borgic Farms, Inc. for 8 years now. I started at the sow farm, and now I’m gaining experience on the finishing side. I have learned so much about our industry over the years and consider myself fortunate to be part of something bigger — to feed the world! With me are my two little ones, Prestin and Ivoree, and my fiancée Sierra. It’s always a great time getting the family in the barn and teaching the kids how we raise pigs and where our pork comes from!
