Meet The Jarboe Family

As a farmer, I’m passionate about consistent improvement. I can remember when my dad was one of the first local farmers to adopt a less invasive method of tilling the ground using a chisel plow. Now, I’m using a method called no-till, which literally leaves the ground just as it is from one season to the next. It’s a practice that improves overall soil health and saves trips across the field — both of which keep extra carbon from getting into our air. There are so many opportunities to learn and keep improving. I’m just grateful to have had the opportunity to farm this beautiful place.
