Meet The Hastings Family

We come from a long line of farmers, but with both of our previous generations gone, we are now the main caretakers of our own ground and our family farm ground. Farming encompasses all aspects of life. The freedom to be your own boss and make the decisions on your ground is empowering. We get to take care of an asset that existed for millennia before us and will continue long after we’re gone. We have to balance the choices of what we produce but in a way that will leave the land better than when we started working it. The fact that something we grow can stay local or go around the world is mind-boggling. We also like to think we’re modeling this hard work ethic for our son. He sees the struggles, as well as the rewards. But no matter the ups and downs, our goal is always the same: to raise healthy, wholesome crops.
