Meet The Deal Family

Beautiful scenery, wide-open space, no two days the same. These are just a few of the things we love about life on the farm. The Deal Family Farm has seen its challenges – the Depression years, the call to duty in WWII. But these periods instilled a deep sense of hard work and persistence passed from one generation to the next. And even today when machinery breaks down or cows get out, we find satisfaction in working through and solving the various day-to-day challenges.

We Raise

No matter what our children decide to do in life, they’ll always have this to come home to.

We love the deep community roots that have been established for our children.

We’ve got the whole “work-life balance” thing down on our farm.

Like lots of other families, we have off-farm jobs. I work full time for the Illinois Corn Marketing Board, while my husband Greg thrives as the full-time farmer.
