Meet The Allaman Family

My ancestors settled in the area in 1858, making me the sixth generation to work the same land. In 2015, we purchased our first farm ground, and in 2018, we started farming land belonging to Bobby’s great-grandma. Today, we grow corn and soybeans, incorporating conservation practices like cover crops, no-till, and strip-till. I also help my dad and uncles with harvest work on their ground. We recently started our direct-to-consumer pastured poultry operation — Allaman Family Poultry. Being exposed to farming from a young age, it’s the only thing I ever considered doing. We’re blessed to be part of a multigenerational family farm. We want to be good stewards of what has been passed down to us and give the next generation the same opportunity we have.
