About Rick Rubenacker
Passion for science
I have a bachelor’s degree in agricultural and biological engineering from the University of Illinois, so you could say I am a fan of science and technology. I am also passionate about farm conservation and am an active participant in my local county Soil and Water Conservation District board.
Our Family Farm
I live in McLeansboro, IL with my wife Emily and our newborn son Lincoln. In my day-to-day, I sell farm equipment. I also grow corn, wheat and soybeans on my family’s farm.
Our farm is located north of McLeansboro, Illinois where I farm with my family. Our family has been farming through the years since 1851. In addition to operating our family farm, we also operate a drainage tile installation business and a trucking company.
