ABOUT ME
Both of our kids are busy with preschool right now. My husband manages a tree nursery. In our spare time we like to be outdoors. We grow a small garden every year. My daughter is super picky, while my son eats anything; the picky one makes it hard to balance healthy food versus convenience.
WHY I’M TOURING FARMS
I’m very curious to learn the difference between what I think happens on modern farms and what actually happens, and it’s hard to make educated choices without firsthand experience. I have concerns about food labeling and a lack of transparency in food production, and I want to be able to educate myself as well as those I love about today’s farming and food.
